Student Leadership

Student Representative Councils (SRC)
There is a Senior School Student Representative Council and a Middle School Student Representative Council. Each class elects a representative to this Council. Each Council then elects its own President and other office bearers.

The Councils meet on a regular basis to:

  1. discuss matters brought before it by students of a class
  2. deal with matters referred to it by the Principal and staff members.
ASPIRE Leadership Program
The ASPIRE program provides leadership training and opportunities through a range of challenging activities. The program contributes significantly to the ethos of the school, as well as supporting the personal development of the participants.

School Sport

Western Zone Sport
A wide variety of sporting activities is made available to students attending Seaton High School. Students are encouraged to participate in different sports through our Wednesday Afternoon, Western Zone program. This program promotes participation, and is a competition played among schools within the western suburbs.

Expressions of interest are taken through morning Home Groups.

SPORT SA Knockout Competitions
Seaton is an active participant in SPORT SA knockout competitions. Teams are nominated on the basis of student interest.

European Handball
Golf
Super 8 Cricket
Beach Volleyball
Girls Surfing
Rock Climbing

Robotics
The Robotics Club meets after school to build and program computer-driven robots and plan how they negotiate the track. In 2009 and 2010 the Robotics team won the State Championships. In 2010 the Robotics Team won the RoboCup Junior Australian Open Championships in the Premier Rescue division. The Robotics team regularly travels interstate to participate in the national championships.

Visual Art and Innovation Specialst Program

This program enables like-minded students to work as a group to develop their artistic skills to a higher level.

Diamond Sports Program

Seaton High School offers the opportunity for students to study baseball as part of a comprehensive high school education package.
