Visual Art and Innovation Specialist Program

Our website is soon to be redesigned to reflect significant developments and new directions at Seaton High School. For up-to-date information about Programs, please refer to:
Curriculum Handbook 2022
Information Handbook 2022

In 2008 Seaton High School introduced a program for gifted art students in year 8.

This program enables like-minded students to work as a group to develop their artistic skills to a higher level than would normally be expected. This group remains together as long a practicable given that years 11 and 12 students specialise in their subject choices.

Applicants attend an interview at Seaton High School in which they present a portfolio of work, talk about their favourite artist/s and complete an observational drawing. A copy of the Year 6 Term 4 student report is also requested.

For further information about this program please contact Tony Jeffrey, the Arts Coordinator.
